Retailer of the Year

Online and offline tack shops, equestrian product suppliers and feed stores qualify for this category.

Equine Therapist of the Year

​

Any kind of therapist may qualify, however they must hold relevant/current qualifications and be part of their respective governing bodies.

Vet Practice of the Year 

​

Nominees must be an Accredited Practice.

Diversity Award

 

​

Nominate a business who has diversified or promoted diversity.

Riding School of the Year 

​

Open to riding schools of all sizes and locations. Riding schools must hold a local authority licence.

Equestrian Tech of the Year

​

Have a favourite equestrian app or piece of technology? Nominate them for Equestrian Tech of the Year 2023! 

Riding Instructor of the Year

​

Instructors must be appropriately qualified.

Saddle Fitter of the Year

​

Nominees must be  appropriately qualified.

 

Sustainable Practice Award

​

Awarded to a business or individual demonstrating exceptional commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship in the equestrian sector.

Social Equestrian Influencer of the Year 

​

Do you know a social media influencer or brand ambassador who has gone above and beyond to support your business, educated you or inspired you?

Livery Yard of the Year

​

Any livery yard registered as a business, from grass livery to full and working livery are eligible for this award.

Horse Transporter of the Year

​

Transporters must hold the relevant legal certificates, insurance and authorisations.

Equestrian Charity of the Year

​

​

Nominate your favourite equestrian based charity.

Best New Equestrian Business: Recognizing a new business (within the last 2-3 years) that has shown remarkable growth, innovation, and impact on the equestrian community.

Equine Dentist of the Year

This award is open to qualified and registered equine dental technicians.

For professionals who have helped to train and support     horses to             overcome specific    behavioural and      emotional  barriers. using evidence based methods and with social licence to operate in mind.

Lifetime Achievement Award

​

Nominate an individual who has made a significant contribution to equestrianism throughout their life.

 

Bit/Bridle Fitter of the Year

Equestrian Fashion Excellence Award

 Celebrating outstanding creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship in equestrian fashion. This award recognizes designers, brands, or businesses that have made a significant impact on the equestrian fashion scene combining aesthetic and practical needs of the community

Outstanding Equestrian Facility

 Celebrating the best in equestrian facility management, customer service, and horse care.

Terms and Conditions for Nominations and Judging Eligibility:

​

  1. Nominees must be actively involved in the equestrian industry, either as individuals, teams, organizations, or businesses, and demonstrate alignment with the Gallop Awards' core values.

  2. Nominations are open to participants worldwide, unless specified otherwise.

  3. Self-nominations are permitted across all categories.

  4. Previous winners can be nominated again 

Nomination Process:

  1. All nominations must be submitted through the official Gallop Awards nomination form by the specified deadline. Late entries will not be considered.

  2. Each nomination must be complete and include all required documentation and evidence to support the nomination.

  3. By nominating, nominators confirm that all information provided is accurate and true to the best of their knowledge.

Judging Process:

  1. The judging panel will consist of industry experts, including but not limited to, seasoned professionals, previous winners, and academic scholars.

  2. Judging criteria will include innovation, community impact, growth, and adherence to the core values of the Gallop Awards.

  3. The judging process will be conducted in stages, with finalists being notified before the final decision.

  4. Decisions made by the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal.

Confidentiality and Intellectual Property:

  1. All nominators are responsible for ensuring they have the right to share any intellectual property included in their nomination.

  2. Personal data submitted during the nomination process will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.

  3. The Gallop Awards reserves the right to use non-sensitive information related to nominations for promotional purposes.

Award Ceremony:

  1. Winners will be announced at the annual Gallop Awards ceremony. Details regarding the event will be communicated in advance.

  2. Winners may be required to participate in post-award publicity, including but not limited to, interviews, photo sessions, and social media engagement.

General:

  1. The Gallop Awards reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.

  2. Participation in the nomination process constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  3. The Gallop Awards reserves the right to disqualify any nominee found to be in breach of these terms.
